Updates to Mope.io are posted at changelog, which contains the version history of the game. Mope.io was officially released as a browser game to the public on October 4, 2016. The original changelog site, https://mope.io/updates.txt, was created on October 18, 2016; all updates prior to then are sourced from Clickstan's posts on the Subreddit. Its last update was on March 4, 2021 and has been replaced by https://mope.io/updates.html since at least July 2021.

The changelog can be accessed on the Home Screen, in the green Updates button on the bottom of the screen. A red exclamation mark appears when there is a new update since the player's last visit. Updates that were posted on the old changelog site but not on the Home Screen's changelog are referred to as "Secret Updates", while changes that are not explicitly mentioned in the changelog (but may be said elsewhere such as the Discord) are called "Unmentioned Updates".

August 3, 2023: WILD MOPE WAVE 5
Tier 16 animals:
- Ice Monster: 130% damage buff to ice shards, 50% faster growth, no slowing from Frostbite.
- Sea Monster: 180% whirlpool size increase, duration increased to 8.5 seconds.
- Land Monster:175% sinkhole size increase, duration increased from 8 seconds to 6.
- Dino Monster: Increased ability duration, 65% victim fall damage, 15% increased water capacity.
- Giant Scorpion: Ability cooldown reduction, 80% increased damage per tick on shivering prey, 50% increased damage on own tier and predators.

Tier 17 animals:
- Black Dragon: Increased damage with fireballs, Tailslap now deals more damage and 1 hit KO animals in tier 15 and lower, recharges faster.
- King Dragon: Shoots two sets of fireballs by default. Increases to two sets of triple fireballs at 20 million XP and three sets at 50 million.

Unmentioned Updates

Along with the above changes, there are several other changes noted in Lachney's Official Mope.io Discord announcement (screenshot) about the update.

- The name field saves names again.
- The Settings gear button on the top right (added in the previous update) now works and allows Settings to be accessed in-game.
- The in-game coin counter shows how many coins have been collected in game again instead of showing the total amount of coins on the account.
- XP and coin pop ups are centered.
- The Leaderboard has been redesigned.

May 30, 2023: WILD MOPE WAVE 4!
Tier 14 animals:
- Cassowary:
 - Will have a longer charge duration.
- Giant Spider:
 - Webs will take longer to dissolve for animals caught in them.
- Elephant:
 - Will have a larger hitbox size with trunk
- Blue Whale:
 - Will have an increased splash area and a damage buff to its ability.
-  Mammoth:
 - No longer slows down when it's shooting snowballs.

 - Will be completely invisible when it's under rocks.

Tier 15 animals
- Wave 4 of wild mope. Now live on Mope.io with exciting new buffs for the animals in Tier 15

 - Will gain a 10% increased lava regen range and 20% increased lava meter.

- King Crab:
 - Will gain an ability cooldown reduction going from 9 seconds to 7.5 seconds.
 - An ability damage buff of 120% and Arm smash will no longer slow down King Crabs move speed and it will spawn twice as many waves.
- Yeti:
 - Will have a 10% increased roar size, 25% more damage from roar, and a 140% damage buff to its snowball.
 - The snowball amount will go from 2 up to 5.
- Snowman:
 - Will gain 25% roar damage and a 140% snowball damage buff
- Snowgirl:
 - Will gain a 25% roar damage buff.
 - 60% damage increase per frozen statue tick for prey and 40% for their own tier or predators.
- Aqua Yeti:
 - Will now gain a 20% roar size and 50% increased roar damage.
 - They'll also gain 80% damage per frozen statue tick for prey and 50% for their own tier or predators.
- Pterodactyl:
 - Can now pick up animals from tiers 1 through 15.
 - They'll gain 75% energy, 15% flight speed, 20% field of view increase upon reaching 4 million XP.
- Bigfoot:
 - Will gain ability cooldown reduction going from 11 seconds down to 9 seconds.
 - They'll deal 150% damage to tier 16 animals 100% for tier 17 animals, 250% damage to prey and 200% damage to apex animals.
 - They'll gain 10% tree speed.

April 24, 2023: WILD MOPE WAVE 3!
- Tier 11 animals:
 - The lion will have a 110% roar size
 - All of the rare lion variants will have increased roar sizes between 110-125%
 - The Octopus will have a 200% ink cloud size and it will last twice as long
 - The Octopus will stun both predators and prey for longer
 - The Polar Bear will 175% bite damage to beehives
 - The Turkey will have 300% damags to its egg throw ability
- Tier 12 animals:
 - The lion will have a 110% roar size
 - All of the rare lion variants will have increased roar sizes between 110-125%

 - The Ostrich can now have more babies! Going from 8 up to 10. Not only that but the bite damage will be increased to 130%
 - The Hippo is getting a 50% larger roar size
 - The boa constrictor will now do 200% the damage with it's constricting ability
 - The Orca will now make more waves with its ability
 - The Sabretooth tiger can now stun other animals for a longer duration
 - The Komodo dragon sweat ability lasts longer now on predators and prey

Hey there Mope fans! We're happy to announce that Wave 2 of Wild Mope is now live over on Mope.io! In this video we'll be going over all the buffs that are coming with Wave 2 for animals in Tier 7 to up to Tier 10
Starting off with Tier 7 animals let's look at
- The Macaw.
 - Screech size increased by 10%
 - 75% damage to predators up to Tier 15
 - 125% damage to Prey
- The Blue Macaw.
 - Same features as the regular Macaw
 - Additional 5% screech size
- The Pakistani Macaw.
 - 30% increased screech size
 - 150% damage to predators up to Tier 16
 - 125% damage to Tier 17 predators
 - 200% damage to all prey animals
- Zebras.
 - 40% increased ability damage
 - Immune to mud
- Donkeys.
 - 40% increased ability damage

- The rare Jack Donkey.

- White Tiger
 - Ability duration is going from 4 up to 5 seconds
 - 125% longer dash forward when it uses it's ability
 - For predators in tier 17 they'll receive 40% damage per tick from the White Tiger
 - Prey will take 75% damage per tick
 - Immunity to mud and arctic water
 - 10% increased water capacity
- Bear
 - 175% damage to beehives
 - Predators up to tier 16 will take 100% danage from bears
 - Tier 17 predators will take 50%

Get ready to explore the animal kingdom with these exciting buffs to your favorite creatures. From faster speeds to increased damage, these upgrades will take your gameplay to the next level.
- Tier 1 buffs:
 - Move speed +10%
 - Tail bite damage +15%
- Tier 2 buffs:
 - Move speed +10%
 - Tail bite damage +15% on predators/prey
 - Doves can fly infinitely
- Tier 3 buffs:
 - Move speed +5%
 - Dive duration +50%
 - Ability cooldown -20%
- Tier 4 buffs:
 - Woodpecker: inflicts +150% damage to predators up to tier 13 and 150% to any prey. Their ability will now stun animals up to tier 9.
 - Pig: activates stink cloud anywhere, inflicts damage at the start of the effect. If the victim dies from a stink cloud the pig gets the kill xp.. The stinky pig stink cloud gets 25% increase in radius, the pinky pig has a 10% increased cloud radius
 - Sea Horse: ability cooldown reduced to 3s
 - Armadillo: rolls on rocks
 - Seal: ice slide speed increased by 15%
 - Kakapo: ability duration increased to 11 seconds.
- Tier 5 buffs:
 - The Deer, Doe, Reindeer, and Musk Deer are all getting increases to how much food they dig up with their ability.
 - Flamingo: flight speed +5%, resurface all animals up to tier 14
 - Squid: ink clouds duration increased to 10 seconds. Move speed +10
 - Gazelle: ability duration increased up to 13 seconds
- Tier 6 buffs:
 - Peacocks: inflicts 150% damage to predators up to tier 15, and 150% to any prey animals. They also get to enjoy a 5% increase to their flight speed
 - Foxes can pull animals out from hiding holes up to tier 14 and are now immune to mud
 - Arctic Foxes can pull animals out of holes up to tier 15 and can now boost on ice
 - Fennec foxes whine clouds now travel for 5 seconds and spread at 150% increased speed. They now do 75% increased damage to predators up to tier 15 and 125% increased damage to prey animals. Lastly theyā€™ll gain 10% increased movement speed in quicksand and oasis
 - Hedgehogs now have poison spikes that can damage predators up to tier 15 these also damage prey for 150% damage
 - Jellyfish will now do poison damage over time to predators that eat them. Their ink will also damage predators up to tier 15

MISC. FIXES

- Zero lag from server :)
 We have rewritten entire server connectivity and client server-communication which fixes all loopholes and thus improving server performance. Client/Server communication becomes many folds fast and furious!
- Game joining becomes super sonic!
 Now you can join any server almost instantly.. When we say instantly it means less than a second!
- 99.99% no disconnects.
 New communication framework improves client-server connectivity and almost no loss of connection.
- Reconnect is back on connection loss!
 Although disconnect is less than 0.01% but still we have improved the game ability to reconnect the lost game session. Make sure you do not get away from your lost connection game session. Otherwise game will permanently consider game loss after 25 seconds.
- New anti-bot and anti-spamming system!
 New framework made it possible to distinguish bot/spam activity and put perma bans on them. Fair play for all!

Team World is a brand new game mode to now accompany FFA, where you can survive and thrive side by side with other players, struggling against the enemy teams in battle for conquer.

Team Mode Chart In-game 2022

- Spawn into one of three different teams, work together and hunt down the opposing teams with your mates.
- Locate your teammates via player tracking on the mini map (image of the mini map showing dozens of different trackers, optional)
- You can freely pass through your team members without having to worry about hurting them.
- Tail-biting and abilities have no effect on players from the same team.
- NEW: Capture boosts stones to activate different perks for your team!

- Defend the stones you've claimed from self-neutralizing damage with your teammates! A claimed stone will rest only once enough high tier animals from the owner team are surrounding it. The more stones you capture, the more high tier animals you will need to secure each stone!
- Heal the stones you've claimed after enemy attacks by biting it. The higher tier your animal is, the more health you can help restore with each bite. If enough high tier members of your team surround a damaged stone, you can active a 15% regeneration boost and decrease the healing cooldown by 30%!
- You can view currently activated boosts with help of special effect icons.
NEW: Apocalypse: Meteor Shower!

Meteor Promo

- Once a team captures their 10th stone, they automatically trigger an apocalypse event which lasts for 5-10 minutes. A Meteor Shower is brought upon the entire server, disabling foods and forcing everybody into a hostile environment.
- During the apocalypse event, all players lose Water/Lava/Air/Energy 25% faster!
- Seek refuge from meteors colliding with the ground! A direct hit is likely to kill even an apex animal, staying under the sky isn't safe!
- Upon collision, meteors leave impact craters, lava puddles and produce dangerous shockwaves.
- Team Stones cannot be captured or healed during the apocalypse event. 
- Survive the devastation of Meteor Shower to receive a coin reward! The team that triggered the apocalypse will also receive extra coins at the beginning of the event.

New Account Servers setup and Optimizations

- each redemption version comes with 10 AI bosses/levels
- to play redemption mode, you have to buy credits from shop, once you buy credits they show in Settings tab inside Shop interface
- each redemption credit unlocks on Pro/Noob version (10 rounds)
- if a player is able to beat all 10 AI bosses, they get a 375 mopecoins reward for Noob version and 500 mopecoins reward for Pro version

Happy New Year! & mini winter update
Performance fixes:
- Improved server-side and client-side performance.
- Applied extra security on account and in-game player session, more strict protection and security features coming in 2021.
- Fixed subsequent disconnect-reconnect freeze (please provide feedback if you are still facing issues, a video evidence will be great help)
- Fixed various rare-crash that occurred over past 5 weeks.
- Fixed still loading data when you have already logged on and trying to spawn in game.

Winter Mini Update
- Apologies for delayed update, a lot of time was spent on optimizing game mechanics, we hope there will be some improvements, this is a mini update, we initially planned a mega update but we decided to optimize the game before adding any new content.
New Land/Ocean Caves:

- Igloos has a 3d view, the higher you climb the more zoom you get. Only flying animals can land on igloos.
- When players inside igloos they lose water extremely slow

- Caves spawn on land, desert, and in oceans each have on entry/exit point.
- When player inside, caves show an air circular-bar around the edges of the cave, the more players enter the faster they consume air.

Oct 2: Disconnection & Lag fix
- We optimized our game-server code, that should reduce server lag significantly!
We have implemented "Disconnection Fix". Please feel free to play as normal nothing changes.
- If you get disconnected for any reason, Game will reconnect you to the same session if you stay on the same server (After disconnection do not switch server immediately).
- When you disconnect your animal stays in the game, on reconnect you will get the control of it.
- Even rage-quit won't kill animal immediately. Animal stay, and will die either due to AFK or game damage.
- If you get disconnected inside 1v1 arena, you still get back to the same arena within few seconds and continue your fight!
- All game dependency for that player preserve, xp, coins, health, water and so on!
Please provide your feedback if you still face some issues. We will improve the user expereince over time. Thanks

- PRESS S TO CLIMB UP/DOWN trees - only certain animals can climb them and 1/4 of the land has loads of them!

New coins farming system:
- You must have ad-blocker disabled
- You must be logged in your account
- You have to be alive minimum 3.5 minutes to start earning coins
- You earn 6-54 coins in an hour even if you dont kill anyone (based on certain coins per minute formula)
- Kill coin start from killing +10 tier animals. Total kill points are calculated by a very complex kills per hour formula that also depends on which tier you are
- However killing Apex tier animal gives 3, monsters give 10, BD/KD give 20 and winning 1v1 gives 25 cions
- If killing a player that had ad-blocker disabled will get you additional 3 coins
- Killing every anial from +3 tier gives that many coins (if you kill a 3 tier animal you get 3 coins and so on)
- There is no limit on earning coins, however total coins earned come through formulas altogether.

- Field Of View: new FOV that allows them to see through trees in sight. FOV has a range 1.5 times the size of the animal on their front side. Players cant see through the trees if trees are behind them
- Death Lake: A lake surrounded by hills and rocks; has water draining; makes animals suffer which cant climb rocks. Drained lake doesnt give water. Good spot for keeping annoying pets!
- River banks: River now expand and shrink, that makes river banks on both sides. On shrinking the river current intensity decrease. Animals cant dive, and food/animals dont get affected by current if river has shrank up to 70%

- Rainstorm:Generates on Land, a giant clouds moves through the region creating rainfall. As it moves on rainfall intesifies. Each raindrop gives water to every animal
- Duststorm:Generates in Desert, creates sand waves that slowdown animals by 10% speed and push food/animals away gently

- Tornados:Each biome creates a tornado that sucks in food and pull animals. However animals can escape if they keep boosting or dive in water or hide in hole. Firetornado in volcano, Dust devil in desert, Waterspout in oceans, Arctic Twister in Arctic, and Land Tornado on Land. There is a very rare Devil Twister that creates in any biome which has more suck power and has a devil face!
NEW: Snowman
- A new Apex animal Snowman come with 1/2000 rarity and can be bought from shop as well
- Snowman is similar to Yeti with one additional passive ability where it can Camouflage if not moving. When carrot turns Orange you can hide anywhere in Arctic. Camouflage ends when you move or hurt.

- New: Rare species of black dragon. Obtainable by killing all apex animals (unique kills) as black dragon or by luck (1/1000). You can check your apex kills on the apex kill interface by pressing 'S' as black dragon.
- The king dragon has a flamethrower and tail slap ability. Use the tail slap ability by pressing S.
- The king dragon can instantly kill all players up to tier 10.
- New: Killing another black dragon will give you its apex kills.

1v1 Arena Changes
- New: Arenas now have multiple rounds. Apex and monster tier animals have one round (sudden death) and black dragons have best of five rounds. BD vs BD has 3 rounds (first to win 2 is the winner) | BD vs KD has 5 rounds (first to win 3 is the winner)

  Big Cats
- New: Cheetah variants and snowy leopard skins have been updated.
  Lion
- New: Lion skin has been updated and now has new rare variants. All lions are immune to desert heat. (<Lion, Lioness, Lion Cub>)
- New: There are three main animals for lion. The lion, lioness, and lion cub. Each one has a white and black variant. The lion has an exclusive black-maned variant.
- Lion: Has a 800/1000 rarity. Roar for lion has been buffed up to 20% more range and more damage. The lion has a white/black variant (white: 5/1000, has a 5% larger roar, 10% faster on land, and has a 5% smaller boost interval | black: 1/1000, has a 5% larger roar, 10% faster on hills/rocks, 10% quicker cooldown, 10% slower boost interval, and has more health than white lion).
  - Black-Maned Lion: Has a 14/1000 rarity. It has the largest size in terms of body and roar amongst all other lions. It is 20% larger and has a 15% larger roar than all other lions. Roar cooldown is 15% slower, zoom is 5% larger, and it is 50% faster in mud/water/beach. (Slow in ocean)
  - Lioness: Has a 120/1000 rarity. Standing still or moving slowly will allow you to camouflage. The lioness has a white/black variant (white: 5 in 120 of 1000, black: 1 in 120 of 1000). Roar distance for lioness is 25% smaller and it is 10% faster everywhere than lion. The lioness has lower health than lions.
  - Lion Cub: Has a 60/1000 rarity. It is the smallest of all lions . The lion cub has a white/black variant (white: 5 in 60 of 1000, black: 1 in 60 of 1000). Lion cubs have the smallest roar and the quickest cooldown. They are 10% quicker on land, have less health than lioness, and walk normal speed in mud. They inflict 40% damage to prey, are super slow in water, and can hide in small hiding holes.
  - White Lions: Can walk on hills and trees.
  - Black Lions: Can walk on hills, trees, and rocks.
 Rhino
- Rhino skin has been updated and now has a rare variant.
  - White Rhino: Has a 1/1000 rarity. The white rhino charges 20% faster and inflicts damage to predators upon collision. It deals 50% more damage to predators.

Phoenix/Land Monster Buff
- New: Phoenix and land monsters can now shoot fireballs by pressing the S key.

Balances
- Buff: T-Rex Can now grab animals diving under water.
- Balance: Fire from same tier now doesn't burn you. For example, dragons can't burn other dragons with fire. Black dragons can't burn other black dragons with fire. However, fire can damage opposing apex animals still.

- Komdo Dragon: A Very poinsonous animal bite when ability used. Can eats bones and carcasses.

- Blackwidow: A new spider, that throws web and can hide underneath the rocks. A spider thread links the web (visible only to spider), that it can pull and trap the preys. Gives sweat poison bites.

- New: Toucan bird with 5 species
- Toucans Start flying from a fruit tree or bush to throw fruit upon landing.

Invasion of the birds
Added 5 new animals! 
- NEW: Ostrich animal! Lays an egg when pressing W, can control the chicks that come out. Ostrich chicks can be damaged by cheetah tier and up, and can damage till rhino tier.
- NEW: Snowy Owl animal! Arctic animal that flies up and pecks his prey when diving from sky.
- NEW: Peregrine falcon animal! The falcon flies up, dives down to its target and then attacks.
- NEW: Pelican animal! The pelican stores water in its beak and then drops it like a water bomb. Water bomb stops other animals ability
- NEW: frog animal! Frogs are AI animals (like ducks). When hit they produce slime that makes you slippery. They can be found around rivers.

Buffs and nerfs
- Predator nerf: a predator bite pushes both animals apart. Predators can't bite bitten animals for 0.5 seconds after the last bite.
- Food buff: coconut, raspberry, carrot and watermelon now give water on eating
- Same tier animals (besides drag tier) can no longer kill each other. (Boa can't kill hippo anymore)
- Sabertooth nerf: Sabertooth speed in water is nerfed.
- Tiger nerf: Tigers speed in water is nerfed
- Mammoth nerf/buff: Mammoth ability cooldown has been increased. Snowballs can now kill animals.
- Dragon nerf: Dragons have a 3 seconds cooldown. Dragons get on fire if they walk through fire spawned by fireballs from other dragons.
- Black dragon buff: Black dragon can use ability when on fire or stunned. 
  - Black dragon are 20% faster in volcano biome.
  - Animals below hippo tier can not kill the black dragon with their ability (they can damage it but not deliver final blow)
  - Black dragon won't burn on fires spawned from dragon fireballs. Black dragon can eat all killable food (mushroom bush, eggs,..) in one hit.
- Trex buff: Trex can use ability when it is on fire. Trex won't drop animals if it is hurt. Ability cooldown has been increased.
- Yeti buff: Yeti shoots iceballs in fixed directions: 2 from the front and 3 from the back. Cooldown is set to 8 seconds. Yeti can use ability when low on water and the ability does not drain water. Yeti can go on hills (but slow). Yeti snowballs do less damage.
- Giraffe buff: turning speed while using ability is increased
- Eagle nerf: Eagle has been moved to rhino tier. 
  - Eagles can't pick predators, and won't stun them. 
  - Eagle won't burn when flying over lava.
  - Eagle doesn't depend on water anymore when using its ability. There is no health limit anymore to pick up preys.
- Blue Whale nerf: Damage and range of blue whale are now the same as for elephant.
- Zebra nerf: Damage is now the same as for donkey.
- Cobra nerf: cobra speed has been nerfed.
- Poison nerf: Poisoned animals can now use their ability
- Shark buff: Shark speed/cooldown/ability duration has been buffed.

Extra features
- Fire animation has changed, and fire effect as well. Fireballs now spawn a fire on the map. It can be killed by shooting three water balls at it, or it reduces in size and dies off over time.
- Slime effect: Animals from tier 1-11 are affected by slime. Animals below croc become slippery for 4 seconds and can't use ability when covered in slime.
- Eagle ability changes: Animals that are dropped by an eagle now get some velocity (don't drop straight down). Animals get a 4 seconds immune to fire effect and 4 seconds ability to climb hills after being dropped by an eagle (to prevent lava trolling and trapping)
- Ability reskin for the bear and polar bear. They now have a paw.
- Black Dragon skin improved. Wings turn black if Black Dragon loses too much lava. Nostrils give a fearsome effect.
- Octopus when disguise as an animal, shows 25% health bar and players nick name so it feels like a dying player (lure preys). Also shows the biome effect if disguised.
- Ducklings and Eggs added again. New AI for Ducks/Ducklings, Ducklings added back. Ducks lay eggs in island. White ducks spawn in Arctic biome.
- Fixed glitches
- All eagle glitches have been fixed. (ability rework)
- Tiger glitch: infinite use of ability when using an 
 Hedgehog glitch:
- Hedgehog glitch:Hedgehog doesn't stun animals anymore when it is taken by an eagle when using ability

- Black Dragon boost glitch is fixed.

- New hill spawn algorithm- hills are more evenly spread across the map. -When running (holding mouse), you randomly run slightly faster/slower (10%)
- sometimes you will get away when you shouldn't have, sometimes you will get bitten :)
- Boosting/running(left-click) is now possible underwater
- Animals now get damaged when out of water (dont die right away)
- You can now dive underwater when below full hp (after 2s from last damage)!
- You can now pass through dark-green hills when underwater.
- More content is coming soon, just finishing some -Disabled joystick on mobile site (note: no mope.io app is out yet, it's still in development!)

- I hear you guys!, I've tweaked the game some more:
- Game area is now 33% larger(less crowded), 5 lakes per game instead of 3!
- Players with smaller screens can now see farther!
- Doubled network game update rate: game should look much smoother (give feedback on change in lag!)
- Fixed eating : Cheetahs can now eat zebras + mushrooms(requested), moles can eat cheetahs and below, bears can eat moles and below -50% more mushrooms in the game (per sq. unit), 250 max players per game
- Better xp on tail-biting: 40 + 2% of bitten animal's xp(all of it if it dies), with a limit of 3Xing your XP per bite(except on kill).
- NEWS: mope.io has broken 100K daily players!
- Smoother boosting (move farther on boost)

- Thanks to your awesome feedback on reddit, I've reworked and rebalanced the game!
- significantly less mushrooms in the game, reduced many food xp rates (lillypads, red mushroom)
- encourages hunting -mole now comes after cheetah (no longer top predator!)
- zebra now comes after lion (mole and cheetah positions were considered thoughtfully )
- red mushrooms can be more easily broken (shoot water at mushrooms to break them)
- Mole was made larger, faster, better in water, less visible underground, try it out!
- AFK players now get disconnected after 15 minutes
- Cheetahs, again, can only hunt animals to eat (no mushrooms to eat)
- 33% of Mushroom bushes now spawn on lake islands (encourages zeebras+ to visit lakes)
- based on feedback (thanks for voting): improved look of green outline, removed it for water (all animals can drink water!)
- limited tail-bite xp steal to (1000xp or 2% of bitten animal's xp, whichever is lower) -lakes got a more 'beachy' look

- NEW mushroom bushes food spot! (assorted mushrooms spawn near them, these bushes are killable ,and respawning! Zebra+ can attack these)
- NEW zebra animal (after cheetah), can eat NEW mushroom bushes (2K xp eat!), and has a funny trait (reach it to find out!)
- NEW mole animal (Go in and hiding hole, and hold right-click + move to dig underground! The mole is a top predator, competing with dragons!)
- NEW feature: everything that you can eat is outlined in light-green (leave feedback!)
- Increased number of regular/red mushrooms, should be a better xp source
- Reduced invincible time on animal upgrade to 3s (still 5s on spawn)
- biting tails now gives you 40xp + 3% of bitee's xp (watch out, predators!)
- bear speed (on top of hills/in the water) was boosted.
- crocs are now slightly faster than hippos in water, slower on land
- 2x more water (+mushrooms) spawns at mud now (buffed!)

- Water level slowly re-fills in lakes for all animals.
