The Seal is a tier 4 Arctic animal in Mope.io. It is equivalent to the Pig, Woodpecker, Sea-horse and Armadillo.
Technical[]
- Upgrades from the Chicken, Mole, Crab, or Penguin at 1K XP.
- Upgrades to the Deer, Squid, Flamingo, Reindeer or Gazelle at 2K XP.
- Food that it can eat include berries, plankton, mushrooms, raspberries, dates, Cactus Pears, mangoes, carrots and honeycomb. Prey of the Seal are animals in the range of tier 1 to tier 3 (Chipmunk to Penguin).
- Predators of the Seal include all animals from tier 5 to tier 11 (Reindeer to Polar Bear).
- The Seal can use Hiding Holes of any size and whirlpools.
- The Passive Abilities of the Seal includes being able to Climb on hills and rocks.
- The Special Ability of the Seal is to Slide on Ice; on ice patches by holding
W, its speed will increase, and it will have slightly better grip than usual.
Appearance[]
Seal[]
The Seal has white fur with eyes that has two gray side flippers and a tail shaped in a 'V'. It also has a small snout in front with a little black button nose. The Seal's skin is quite flabby around its head. It looks quite similar to the real-life Harp Seal.
Gold Trim[]
The Gold Trim Seal is a shorter Seal. It has four golden separated wrinkle lines on its back, and gold-outlined front flippers. It also has a golden underbelly and two golden diamonds on its head, along with a golden snout. The whole appearance of the Gold Trimmed Seal is notably more furry.
Hawaiian Monk[]
The Hawaiian Monk's body shape inherits parts of both the Gold Trimmed Seal and the normal Seal. It is gray in color and is lightly shaded with a copper color. Its eyes are big and frowning, and it has green bubbles on the torso.
Old/Legacy[]
The Legacy Seal has a slightly darker shade of white fur, darker flippers, as well as a V-shaped tail, like the current one. Near its button black eyes, the Seal's snout is thinner.
Strategy[]
- A method of leveling up safely and reliably is by eating Lemmings and other food sources that are available in the Arctic. When looking for Lemmings to eat always target the bigger ones, as they give more XP. While Lemmings can be found in varying locations across the Arctic, they are also located in the northern areas of the Land biome and the two Oceans
- The player can also go to the nearest Lake, and farm XP there by consuming brown mushrooms, and spitting water into red mushrooms by pressing
S5 times, making the red mushroom explode into multiple brown mushrooms and berries.- Be cautious, as other animals may be patrolling the lake and taking XP. However, since Seals are faster on water than most arctic animals, it will be easy enough to escape any predators lurking around with the exception of Walruses.
- A risky strategy is to dive underwater in a Lake, and bite a predator when it goes over the player. This relies on other things distracting the predator.
- If a predator chases after the player in general, the player can slide on ice ability to get ahead of them by holding
Won ice patches. If the predator has good grip on ice, the Seal's special ability will allow it to speed ahead. If that fails, go to a Rock, where they most likely cannot go.- The player's biggest threat will be Walruses, as they are essentially a high-tier Seal, with the exact same capabilities. Try avoid them as much as possible. If a Walrus chases after the player, the player should either dive underwater for as long as possible, or wait the Walrus out in a hiding hole.

Trivia[]
- Along with all other animals that have the Slide on Ice ability, the Seal gains a smiling expression while sliding.
- The Seal, Penguin, Walrus and The Bigfoot are the only animals in Mope.io so far tho change facial expressions.
- It's also the lowest tier animal that can climb on rocks, excluding the Crab.
