Servers in Mope.io are used to host the game. A variety of different servers exist to suit players from different countries and regions. Currently, there are 35 different servers that can be played in, which can handle a maximum of 500 players.
An outdated server status page can be viewed here as plain text, known as the master server.
Technical[]
- There are 16 regions, and 35 different servers.
- If the limit of 500 players is exceeded in a server, a message will pop up saying:
Error: this server is full!
. - The generation of terrain on each server contrasts slightly, leading to unique layouts of hills, rocks, water spots, bushes, etc. per server. The main biomes stay at the same place, but Timberland may be located at a different corner of the Land biome and the Rivers exact horizontal positioning varies depending on the Lake and Mud generation.
- If a player has accumulated XP in one server, dies and then joins a new server, the progress from the previous game will then be lost.

Trivia[]
- On April 9, 2020, servers were reduced, to increase player concentration. The servers were further reduced on April 12, 2023 after KOA's statement on the 5th in response to player feedback[1] to the point where most regions have one server. Only Brazil and Amsterdam have more than one dedicated server.
- Previously, the Asia servers were all in their own country categories, now they are all under Asia.
- Offline servers display -1 on their player count. Attempting to connect to the server will instead connect to a different server.
Glitches[]
- On the server list, the player count is usually inaccurate. A better, but not foolproof, method to check how many players are in a server is to spawn in as a Mouse or any other tier 1 animal. Since the player will be one of the if not the lowest XP player on the Leaderboard, their placement signifies roughly the amount of actual players are on the server.
- Inaccurate player count. Servers that are fairly empty will show up as having hundreds of players. When players try to join servers that have "500 players", the game will send an error message saying the server is full.
- The reason for this is from people ghost botting servers to artificially increase their player count.
- Some small or very full servers will immediately connect the player to a different server if an attempt is made to enter one.
